What should I do with walls in Master Bedroom when decor is cream and black in the rest of the room?
I bought a beautiful comforter set from target that is cream with black Damask print. my carpet is creamish and I just bought a cream couch that I am accenting with all different kinds of black pillows. I have a large bay window to dress as well as my walls and I don’t know what to do!!! My bedroom set is cherry. I have also added lamps with cream and black horizontal strips.
You should paint the walls Lavender. It is warm and it goes well with black and cream. If you paint the walls cream it will be a whipped cream overload hahaha! but black is too dark too paint a room. cherry is red and will be chaotic . so i say lavender. just put in a few light purple Accessories to tie in the wall color to the room and you are good to go! hope this helps!

How should I decorate my appartment?
Me and my boy friend are moving together and I cant wait to decorate the appartment but I need some help finding things. I had an old Delias magazine and it had a sexy bed spread that was in a peacock print that was dark purple and bright blue and they had a sheer dark purble fabric hanging around the bed my boyfriend and I both love this look but the bedspread is no longer for sale I need help finding something it dosnt have to be a peacock print but just something sexy, young and romantic. Then for the living room there is hard wood floors and the wall paper is like a dark blue and white pattern which I like alot but I need some help on how to decorate like what colors I should use what color sofa, what kind of lamps, what kind of art stuff like that. how do I hide cords to lamps, etc. if I don’t place my furniture against a wall?
All decorating shows say you shouldn’t line up furniture along a wall and should pull it into the room somewhat. That’s a good idea but what do you do with the electrical cords for table lamps, etc. so that they are not a hazard to others or unsightly?
If you don’t have floor outlets then it’s best to order decorative cord coverings. I use these a lot. I order from Ballard Designs. They are silk and you can order then for less by ordering them in multiples and they offer many color choices to match your floors.
