In my science fair project I tested plants under an artificial light source
Which was a couple desk lamps.
Compared to the sunlight (In the windowsill)
And It turned out that the plants in the sunlight grew more sufficiently than the plants in the artificial light.

Hi there, your responding variable is the growth of the plants in the different conditions.
Plant growth is what you are measuring and what you hypothesize to be affected by what you manipulate (the kinds of light – artificial or sunlight). It is basically the effect of whatever you vary (manipulate) and is measurable: in your case plant growth.

where can I buy flexible metal tubing such as that used on lamps (similar to flexible conduit but different)?
I have a desk lamp which has a flexible portion allowing it to be positioned as needed, and it will hold that shape. It is made of a metallic type tube which can obviously be bent over and over and not break, and yet it is easily bent and quite rigid when in its position. I would like to know where to purchase some of this material. It is very similar (in looks at least) to flexible metallic conduit, but I could not find it at Home Depot or Lowe’s. Thanks in advance!
You will have to go to a lamp parts place. We sold it at Elliotts Hardware when I worked there and got it from Satco they can be had from about 12″ to as much as 36″
