What color should I paint my room to match this comforter?

I’m thinking a light green with some orange accents. Or I might paint it lavender.
I don’t want my room pink or blue and I don’t want it all orange. I have light turquoise lamps and a white bookcase, daybed, nightstand, and desk.

I would go with a shade of purple or lavender. Check out “Lavender Sparkle” or “Lilac Bisque” by Behr. My first choice would be the light blue that is in the comforter, but you said you didn’t want that. BTW, pretty comforter!

How should I decorate my appartment?
Me and my boy friend are moving together and I cant wait to decorate the appartment but I need some help finding things. I had an old Delias magazine and it had a sexy bed spread that was in a peacock print that was dark purple and bright blue and they had a sheer dark purble fabric hanging around the bed my boyfriend and I both love this look but the bedspread is no longer for sale I need help finding something it dosnt have to be a peacock print but just something sexy, young and romantic. Then for the living room there is hard wood floors and the wall paper is like a dark blue and white pattern which I like alot but I need some help on how to decorate like what colors I should use what color sofa, what kind of lamps, what kind of art stuff like that. So please if you guys will give me somewebsites or just ideas from your head. Remeber this is an appartment so I cant change the wall paper and things.

Floor Lamp Mission Style
How do I fix the switch on a floor lamp?
We have a floor lamp with the standard knob at the top that you turn, and it clicks on and clicks off. Kinda like this.

Now it only lights between the clicks, and it is impossible to make it stay between the clicks without my hand on the knob. How do I correct this? Warning: I am not mechanically inclined! Is there a straightforward adjustment I can make for this?

If it’s a three-wattage bulb (light level changes with each click when it’s working properly) you may want to start by replacing the bulb. The top of the bulb will have three wattage ratings printed on it such as 30-70-100. That may solve your problem. If the 70 watt filament is broken the lamp will work on alternate steps of the switch – which sounds like your problem.
If that fix doesn’t work or it is a single wattage socket you will probably have to replace the socket/switch assembly. The repair is actually quite simple, but if, as you say, you are ‘mechanically challenged’ I would ask a neighbor who is not, to do the repair. You mention adjustment – it really isn’t worth the time or trouble to try to fix the switch. If yours is a standard everyday variety lamp with the switch mechanism as part of the socket the fix takes about 5 minutes and is simply a matter of replacing the defective socket and switch assembly. Oddly enough, if the switch is separate from the socket assembly the repair will be slightly more difficult, but still ‘no big deal’.
As an aside, if the switch and socket are part of the same assembly, which is common, you have the option of replacing the current socket with one which will accept a bulb with three wattage levels and you will be able to vary the intensity of the output of the lamp simply by using the new switch. Does anybody know any good surveillance/electronic shop in Singapore? Could either be local online or offline shop. I am not sourcing for a surveillance camera but am looking for a shop who kind of sell Infrared illuminator lamps and infrared LEDs. And I need to know the LED’s specifications well like its wavelength, angle, etc.
I have looked almost every shop in Sim Lim Square and Tower but many do not know the specifications of the IR LEDs/lamps they are selling. Online shops that states all the specifications are usually overseas ones and the shipping fees are high.

What color pillows to go on my couch?
The couch is very light tan. End tables and coffee table are espresso. The walls are painted a water chestnut color which is very similar to a very light beige. Fireplace painted white as are all of the built in bookshelves. Off white curtains. Lamps and hardware nickel. Modern style living room. I want a good color to make up for all the whites/tans/browns/light beige.
the first color that popped into my mind is a patterned burnt orange or copper color…still warm to go with all your warm neutrals, but still a nice pop of color as well
