how to make a portable ultra bright led lamp?
I´m going to take pictures inside a cave, so there is no light. Tha´s why I need the brightest , smallest lamp i can carry in my back pack, I figure it has to be made out of LED
I’ve done this using a coleman lantern. Make a shield so you can block the light that would go toward the camera. Us a manual setting to open the shutter and walk the lantern down the cave. You can get some very nice pictures doing this.
You can also set up a whole series of flashes that run down the cave. This is the expensive way.

im going to redesign my bedroom, need some tips.?
I have two windows and it is sunny most of the day, so i want something bright and cheerful. I have pink bedding. I am a young teen so i don’t want like cinderella. ha ha .
I like to have plants in my bedroom though.
I was going to go with pink and purple wall but i couldn’t figure out a good floor color.
Then i also liked the green and white look but it doesn’t really go with my bedding.
I need tips on every thing like things to add like window shades, rugs
everything thanks

Anyway here are my suggestions…
If you want a bright room, leave the walls white, BUT then make one of the walls hot pink! It won’t be too overwhelming because everyother wall is white, which will make the room seem even more bright! On the pink wall I would add either white stencils of something modern, example; different sized polka dots, or like I have in my room a picture,shelves, or a picture frame! Also I would add a bowl chair. If you look in my room, you will see one! They’re really modern! If you don’t want something like that on the pink wall, I would put your bed on the hot pink wall facing out, with a white headboard. The white against the pink will give good contrast! If you want a pattern I personally like stripes but if you do the stencil idea with polka dots I would focus your curtains/accessories etc. on polka dots. For accessories, choose modern stuff like the vases on my shelf! I hope I gave you good ideas!

They do sell all kinds of battery operated lighting now. My suggestion is to take a look at the LED battery lights they have. I’ve seen them on a swivel/pivot so you can aim them.

Led Lamp For Cars
Which of these two brick lights should I use in the brick columns I am building?
I am trying to decide which of these two brick lights to use in the brick columns I am building by my driveway and walkway, and how many of them.
My entryway sidewalk is 42 inches wide and my single car driveway gate opening is 10 feet. At first I had thought to use 4 of these brick lights in the columns on either side of the walkway and driveway, for balance and appearance.
What do you think, would one light for each entry way be enough? And of these two manufacturers, which seems the best value/ design? Both use 110V. The Halo uses a 20 W incandescent lamp and the Xenon has a built in transformer for 12V LED light.

It’s not actually an LED light, but it is a smaller wattage xenon bulb so will use less energy and should require less maintenance due to the longer life bulbs. You have some color choices with the Xenon brand and it looks a bit more modern too.
As far as quantity, since these don’t cast light vary far or wide you may want to plan one in every other brick or maybe two bricks in between them. So it’s going to depend on how wide your the columns are to determine how many lights to install. You’ll want to put them on two sides of the columns at the walkway to illuminate the driveway and sidewalk areas at that point.

how do I compare GU10 led bulbs with conventional gu 10 bulbs?
I want to begin using energy saving GU10 led bulbs. How does their brightness compare with conventional GU10 bulbs. What strenght bulb would I need to buy to replace my current 50 watt bulbs. – thankyou
I bought a load of LED bulbs (MR16 type) a year or two back. They were the most powerful readily available at the time (5 watt) and claimed to give off as much light as a 35 watt halogen. In fact, they give less illumination than the 20 watt halogens I was hoping to replace. That may be a feature of the single ‘cree’ LED and huge lens in each bulb. A multi-LED bulb might give better light distribution … but that would just reduce the intensity. It was an expensive mistake as I bought 10 at a cost of about £15 each. Things may have moved on but I would not be confident of finding a LED bulb that gave the equivalent light to a 50 watt halogen over an equivalent area.
