Lampwork: glass bead supplies?

I have recently begun making glass beads. In about an hour I’ll be picking up most of the supplies needed.

Here is a list of the supplies I’ll be shopping for today. If anyone can recommend or advise against buying certain types or brands, that would be great. I’ll appreciate any advice.

-Torch (1400 F)
-Fuel (must be mixed with oxygen): propane, natural gas, (or MAPP gas, it does not need to be mixed with oxygen)
-Striker (for the torch)
-mandrels (I believe these are the glass rods
-Beadrake, marver plates (what is the difference?)
-Clamp for torch
-Bead release (what kind of paint is this?!)
-Fiber blanket (for cooling the beads down in. What is this made of?)
-Small work table
-Large, square, metal plate for the table
-Pliers (for making stringers)

You need to ask an expert bead maker. Ask Pam East. If anyone knows– She for sure does! I make a simple lampwork bead by mixing glass frit (broken marbles) and fusing them to 20 gauge copper wire. I use my welding torch.

Hi, you have most of what you need, the one item that is missing is a thermostat, this controls the temperature in the tank, ie on hot days when the room temperature is high the thermostat will dim the heater as not so much heat will be required, on a cool day the heat requirement is higher so you get the idea.
Definitely no crickets are fed to corn snakes, they are fed mice from the day they hatch to the day they die. Always feed once a week, start with pinkie mice for 1 month then fluffs for 1 month, then increase to hoppers for 2 months, weaners for another 2 months and by then he should be big enough to take adult mice. You may be shocked at the size of the pray that is being eaten but this is normal for snakes and if the pray is to big the snake will refuse it so don’t worry he will not choke.
One final point, the hot end of the tank should be about 88 degrees and the cool end about 78 to 80 degrees and the heat should be on 14 hours a day and off for 10 hours on a night, good luck, Stef.
