I’m looking for the old fashioned track lighting. The tracks attach to the ceiling at various intervals.?
The lamps are twisted on and you can move them where you want them along the track. The ceiling electrical outlet in the breakfast room is in an odd location and I need a fixture that is flexible and I can have the light where I need it.

Yes, there are numerous reasons to buy at a yard sale. You’d be surprised at all the NEW items you will find at deep discount prices. Before you decide to have a yard sale though, you need to check ebay. You have some great items and could make a lot more selling on ebay than at a yard sale. Just checking a wine decantor on ebay, prices ranged from $10 to $50 so definitely worth it! You should not expect to make more than 20 to 25 percent of the value at your yard sale though. It’s a great way to clean out, maybe once or twice a year but you won’t get rich in one day. See below for reasons to have a yard sale. So I went out and got those new light bulbs that are energy saving and long lasting?
But they are so harsh with the light!!! I mean I like soft warm light. Plus the new bulbs are larger and pop out the top and hang out the bottom of my fixtures. Am I looking at the wrong bulbs? Are there better ones out there? If so which ones??
these lamps are the worst hype ever. could you imagine the cost of making these lamps as to the cost of using them. for starters, they are all made in china, or some place in the east. made in plants powered by coal. burning emissions into the atmosphere. they also contain mercury. great for our landfills. but the media says we should use them to “conserve energy”. lets get real here. put this myth to bed and use good old USA technology. buy American!!

Course question: when I enter the house, I notced immediately that there are signs of a struggle.?
There are overturned chairs, broken lamps, and a trail of blood leading into the next room. Following the blood I find a man, appearing to be in his mid-fifties, lying on the floor. His wife is behind me yelling that someone broke into the houe and shot him. As I quickly check the man (I am EMS) and discover that he is breathing shallowly and has a weak pulse, I hear the rest of my crew entering the houe behind me. What should be done next (in your opinion) and what instructions should be given to the newly arriving crew? Upon arrival to this scene, the officer tells me to check-out the situation bcause I am the First Responder. I grab the first-aid-kit. Although the 911 center assures me they have been dispatched, no polic have arrived at the scene yet, so I try to determine ifi the scene is safe. A hysterical woman comes running from the house screaming for me to help her husband. She assures me that he is the only person in the house. What do you think the correct protocol is?
Oh, boy, Several mistakes I see:
1) Police should have been there before you, if the dispatcher had any brains.
2) “His wife is behind me” NEVER let anyone BEHIND you, especially if it’s a possible assault/disturbance/burglary. NEVER. More so when you don’t mention having a partner. NEVER.
3) “Upon arrival to this scene, the officer tells me to check-out the situation because I am the First Responder” WTF? “Officer”? As in police??? You’re kidding, I hope. YOU don’t check ANYTHING except the victim. YOU (as you said you’re EMS) are NOT law enforcement.
This is screwed up from the get-go.
